Choose the Right

This year's theme for the Primary Sharing Time is:  Choose the Right

"Choose you this day whom ye will serve;... but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15)

When we choose what is right, we will be blessed --this is what we basically need to teach the little ones. In order to make attractive lessons, here are some CTR printable that you can use especially during singing time. It would really be fun if you make them learn new languages that will remind them to choose what is right. These freebies can also be cut and used as rings as seen on this site.

Please note that I did not make these printable freebies. They are found here.

Choose the Right (English)
Piliin ang Tama (Tagalog)
Kies de Goede Weg (Dutch)
Choisis le Bien (French)

Wahle das Rechte (German)

Scegli il Giusto (Italian)

Filifili Mea Tonu (Samoan)

Haz Lo Justo (Spanish)

These are also seen at sugardoodle. Here are also some free and very lovely printable made by melonheadz!

"Thou shalt do that which is right … in the sight of the Lord"
                                                                                                   - (Deut. 6:18).

Happy printing! Have a great day!

Faith in God Award

Last January 15, 2012 the certificates for the Faith in God Award was distributed to the two primary graduates who were able to accomplish their wonderful Faith in God goals. I know those kids worked hard for this and they are really valiant during every primary activity that we had.

Due to the fact that we have limited resources and budget, we, the leaders of our ward primary presidency are always looking for creative ways on how we can maximize the given budget without sacrificing  the learning growth of the kids. Primary activities are always simple yet enjoyable in nature. Every child learns on how he or she can accomplish the given goals that can help strengthen their testimony in the church.

Faith in God Basic Requirements

An important part of faith in God is keeping your baptismal covenant and staying spiritually strong. To help you develop faith and resist temptation, do the following things:
  • • Pray daily to Heavenly Father.
  • • Read the scriptures regularly.
  • • Keep the commandments and live “My Gospel Standards”.
  • • Honor your parents and be kind to your family.
  • • Pay your tithing and attend tithing settlement.
  • • Attend sacrament meetings and Primary regularly.

For further details on what Faith in God is all about, how it can be achieved, requirements needed, and why it is given to all primary kids who are eight (8) years old and above, click on this link.

This is the certificate that was given to the two primary graduates. This certificate was not made by me and I give credit to its owner. If you want to download and use this, you can find it here.

You can also use these certificates, which are found (downloadable) in this site.

As primary leaders I know that we all aim in helping the little ones finish their Faith in God goals to help them strengthen their faith and testimony in God. I hope you can make use of this post.

Have a great day!

Fun in the Sun

So this is basically my second blog post. I was having a hard time finalizing what I should do with this blog -- I was thinking of creating new stuffs that can be useful for both primary leaders as well as to those who are just looking for ways on how they can pimp their daily lives. However, I realized that with my kind of work, I cannot spare much time for such things.

The main goal of this blog is to help primary leaders simplify their tasks in looking for brand new ideas that they can share with their class which is why I came to a conclusion that I will be the one to look for blogs, websites, and other materials that can be handy in teaching and guiding the children.

Please expect that in the succeeding days, links to various sites will be seen in this blog --making this your one-stop-site wherein everything you are actually looking for are here.

Have a great day!

Welcome to Primary@work!

Good day everyone! I thought of making a new blog, Primary@work, wherein I can post ideas, outputs, and everything under the sun --having the primary goals of the LDS church in mind. I may not be too equipped with knowledge on how I can possibly do this, but I know that as time goes by, my crafty skills will improve which I can share my ideas with the other primary leaders across the globe.

I'm using various digital scrapbook programs for this project. As a start, here are two of my finished products, which are logos that I intend to use in this blog.

1st try :)
2nd finished product
I chose to use the second logo because I intend to use this blog as creative as I can and post pictures of hand-made, budget-friendly and easy crafts that the children and I will be doing.

Welcome to Primary@work and have a great day!
